Our Background

Institut Wawasan is a Technical and Vocational Education & Training (TVET) College which was established in 1996. We are proud to be accredited as a 5 Star College since 2013 by the National Vocational Training Council (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK) under the Ministry of Human Resources.

Institut Wawasan is also ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2004. We are among the first skills college to obtain this certification, thus placing importance on quality standards. In line with our vision and mission, Institut Wawasan assists in promoting the continuous development of Malaysian talent and human capital. We also assist organizations in their strategic management development through either technical or management corporate training programs.

Institut Wawasan, in partnership with the Malaysian National Vocational Training Council (JPK), offers highly relevant and attuned training programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of students. Diploma programs available include electronic, mechatronic/automation, electrical, and business management.

Our associate partner, Wawasan Open University, offers opportunities for our graduates to continue their degree programs, paving the way for higher education to bachelor's or master's degrees. Our associate partners in the industries, including MNCs, SMEs, SMIs located at Bayar Lepas , FIZ zone, Perai, Batu Kawan Industry Area, Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Bakar Arang Industry and etc. These companies also have provided job opportunities and offered employment to our graduates. The employability of our graduates is of top priority at our college.
